Pypyr has been found!

So around the first of July our dog Pypyr left home for a little vacation and didn't leave a note. Nearly one month later she was found near Lewiston, ID in a little town called Kooskia. She had the nerve to send us a picture of herself on vacation :0)

Thank you for everyone's help, we are excited to be picking her up and bringing her home safe and sound this Thursday!!

Home Sweet Home!

Well here it is! Our home in the middle of nowhere...really! Population 200, no grocery store, no main street, one resturaunt (only open in the summers), and more elk passing by the house than people. Our biggest concern is a mountain lion coming through the front door!

What do we do with ourselves you ask? Mainly nothing, but on occasion we go jet skiing, roast marshmallows and count stars, swim, ski, hike etc etc etc.

Cannon Beach, Oregon Here We Are!

Our first official family vacation and we loved it! We highly recommend the little resort town of Cannon Beach, Oregon to anyone looking for a terrific vacation. Too cold for bikinis (or very many people), excellent seafood, and chacos for $20!

Seth was a little ill after the 20 hour round trip, but he (as well as the rest of us) loved playing on the beach and searching for starfish and big waves.

Genevieve loved being passed from one pair of hands to another and yet another...

Nephi and I really liked taking an early morning jog on the beach and riding the beach bikes around searching for lost caves and sand dollars.
